Britta Fehrmann und Tina Tonagel von Wilde Kulturtechniken e.V. bieten einen Workshop an, bei dem die Teilnehmer:innen einen elektronischen Papagei selber bauen. Damit können sie mit Vögeln oder anderen Lebewesen in den Dialog treten.
Im ersten Teil des Workshops geht es um die Elektronik: Unter Anleitung löten die Teilnehmer:innen die einzelnen Bestandteile wie Lautsprecher, Aufnahme- und Wiedergabe-Modul, Lautstärkeregler, LEDs, Batteriehalter, diverse Widerstände, Kondensatoren und Schalter. Sobald alle ihre Technik zusammengebaut haben, können die Teilnehmenden ihren Papagei selbst gestalten und anmalen und die Elektronik daran anbringen.
Zum Schluss begeben wir uns mit allen Teilnehmern in den Wald und versuchen, Vogellaute einzufangen und widerzugeben.
Den Papageien können die Teilnehmer:innen mit nach Hause nehmen und damit weiter experimentieren.
Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Zielgruppe: Kinder ab 10 Jahren, Jugendliche und Erwachsene oder Kinder ab 8 Jahren in Begleitung mit einem Erwachsenen. Die Materialkosten betragen 12 €.
Die Teilnahmezahl ist auf 12 Personen begrenzt, Voranmeldung bitte an kinderwerkstatt@global-forest.com.
Britta Fehrmann arbeitet freiberuflich als Data Scientist und sammelt als Geografin Orte: Unorte, verlassene Orte, brutalistische Orte, kaputte Orte, zerstörte Orte, in Transformation befindliche Orte, Orte im Dazwischen. Darüber hinaus beschäftigt sie sich mit elektronischen Mitteln der Klangerzeugung: basteln, fummeln, experimentieren und improvisieren und gibt dieses Wissen in Workshops an Kinder und Erwachsene weiter.
Tina Tonagel arbeitet als freie Künstlerin in den Bereichen Kinetik und Klangkunst und entwickelt raumbezogene kinetische Installationen. Ihre Arbeiten werden im In- und Ausland bei Ausstellungen und Festivals gezeigt und sind vielfach ausgezeichnet worden. Tina hat durch jahrelange Tätigkeiten im Kulissenbau und Ausstellungsaufbau vielfältige handwerkliche Kompetenzen erworben und autodidaktisch ihre Kenntnisse im Bereich Elektronik und Programmierung vertieft. Mit selbsterfundenen Instrumenten und analogen Projektionen arbeitet sie mit verschiedenen Musikerinnen zusammen und gibt Workshops im Bereich Elektronik.

Britta Fehrmann and Tina Tonagel from Wilde Kulturtechniken e.V. offer a workshop in which participants build their own electronic parrot. The parrot can be used to enter into dialogue with birds or other living creatures.
The first part of the workshop is about electronics: under their supervision, the participants solder the individual components such as the loudspeaker, recording and playback module, volume control, LEDs, battery holder, various resistors, capacitors and switches. Once everyone has assembled their kit, the participants can design and paint their own parrot and attach the electronics to it.
Finally, we will go out into the forest with all the participants and try to capture and reproduce bird sounds.
The participants can take the parrot home and continue experimenting with it.
Previous skills are not necessary. Target group: Children from 10 years, teenagers and adults or children from 8 years accompanied by an adult. The cost of materials is 12 €.

Britta Fehrmann works as a freelance data scientist and as a geographer collects places: Unplaces, abandoned places, brutalist places, broken places, destroyed places, places in transformation, places in between. She also works with electronic means of sound production: tinkering, fiddling, experimenting and improvising, and passes this knowledge on to children and adults in workshops.
Tina Tonagel works as a freelance artist in the fields of kinetics and sound art and develops space-related kinetic installations. Her works are shown at exhibitions and festivals both in Germany and abroad and have won many awards. Tina has acquired a wide range of skills through years of work in scenery construction and exhibition design and has deepened her knowledge of electronics and programming through autodidactic work. Using self-invented instruments and analogue projections, she works with various musicians and gives workshops in the field of electronics.
